Self Publishing: Where Can I Get Reviews for My Book?

Getting people who know you to write a book review for you is a lot like herding cats!

One of my good friends PROMISED he would review my book Instant Author Formula over a hear ago, but alas, he has not done it even though I gave him a review copy.

Such is life. I find it is harder getting reviews from my contacts than getting them in other ways.

Here are 3 ways you can get reviews for your books.

1. Ask your current contacts, customers and friends to write you a review in exchange for a copy (PDF or Kindle/Nook) of your book.

2. Look up reviewers of similar books on Amazon. Write them requesting a review.

3. Submit your book to review sites.

here are 7 Sites where you can get your self-published book reviewed:

Goodreads

2. Digital Book Today

3. Kirkus

4. Self-Publishing Review

5. IndieReader.com

6. Indie B.R.A.G.

7. PW Select (Publisher’s Weekly)
