Each week on Sunday night I choose an intention to keep front and center in my thoughts and intentions. This word or phrase goes in my weekly planner layout just below the calendar, at the moment.
Stewardship is about responsible management of resources. As I go through the week, I will pay attention on how I spend (use) my resources, such as time, money, home, energy, health, relationships, and giving back
As I get ready to prepare food, I ask myself what my vessel (body) needs for optimal health and energy. As I consider spending money, I am asking if that purchase will wisely employ my financial resources.
My overall question to myself is: Will doing/having this bring me closer to something I WANT to experience. Nice tie-back to last week's intent.
Wise stewardship is not about scarcity or fear. It's about making the best possible use of everything available to me.
I'll let you know how it has worked for me later in the week.
Do you have a focus word or intention What's yours? How is that working for you?
