I'm starting off the year with a paper planner for the first time in decades. One thing I decided to do was to hold an intention for the week. This word, question, or idea will be front and center every time I go into my planner to play. I will hold and contemplate this intention throughout each day.
Right now, I'm putting the weekly focus intention in my the far left column of my weekly planner spread, just below the monthly calendar.
What do I want to experience?
Each day, I will focus on the kinds of experiences I desire, whether in food, time with friends, people, vacations, things, or health.
I don't love exercise, but I love having vibrant health, so after each workout, that is my focus. I want to experience strength.
I am saving pictures of experiences I want to have, such as trips to Hawaii, Ireland and Scotland.
While looking at the photo of me kissing a dolphin, I relive one of the best moment of my life and know I want to have a similar experience again, in the wild this time.
So that's how I'm working with my intention.
