In this Live the Plan with Me video tutorial, I share how your planner layouts don't have to be the same each week. Some weeks I have lots of white space. Others, I have lots of stickers. Others still, I incorporate my own artwork.

I'll give yousome ideas to do it your way and show you how I incorporate wild animal stickers into a fun weekly spread.

Resistance is Futile: What You Resist Persists

"Resistance is futile," is THE quintessential Borg statement in Star Trek: The Next Generation. It's just as true here in what we, perhaps mistakenly, call "reality" as much as it is for the Collective.

There's a saying that what you resist persists. Do you doubt it?

If you're unsure, do this experiment right now. I twill only take a few seconds.

You probably tussled with your brain, trying to resist the color yellow, but most likely, a parade of yellow things passed before your mind's eye or in your brain one way or another.

Receive: Self Mastery Focus Word, Feb 11-17, 2017

What you focus on expands. That's the power of intention.

I love giving. Gifts, smiles, encouragement...big fun for me. Yet being able to receive is just as vital as being able to give. This week, my self mastery focus word is "Receive." I put my focus word in my planner, just beliw the monthly calendar.

To give without graciously receiving is like haling without inhaling. You need to do both in order to breathe.

Live the Plan: 2 Easy Ways to Boost Motivation

I've had such a good time using a paper planner, decorating it with fun stickers, and being creative while I stay on task. But I recently discovered that a lot of people who ove creating a plan fall short on living the plan.

I'm a "plantser." Yes, I plan some things, but I can't be rigid. It just isn't in my nature. I'm also a "pantser" going by the seat of my pants. I think you can be both and have a super happy life, somewhat planned and organized and somewhat free-flowing and intuitive.

One of my planner friends said her issue was motivation. She said, "I have no real excuse."

No judgment here. Please don't call yourself lazy or any similar word if you fall into this category.

Living My Weekly Focus: Stewardship

In case this is new to you, each week I'm focusing on a word or idea, and this past week has been all about stewardship.

This was a fantastic focus for me. I considered whether decisions on what to do, buy, and experience was a wise use of my various resources.

Weekly Intention Focus for week of 1/1-7, 2017: Stewardship

It helped me be more thoughtful about bringing into my life experience elements that make me happy and use what I have well.

It affected me in little ways. For example, I was watching a movie I didn't enjoy, and rather than continue being dissatisfied watching it, I decided it wasn't entertaining and meant a poor use of my time resource. Had I been entertained, I would have continued.

I chose against a couple of purchases that, while cool, really wouldn't bring me closer to an experience I wanted, or happiness, or anything else.

What if everything you did moved you into a blissful life? How would that change things?

Don’t Just Plan: LIVE the plan Video tutorial

I have learned that a lot of people who love planning aren't that great about making their plans a reality. That loses the point of planning.

Now, I'm a plantser...half planner, half pantser (as in "seat of the pants" in case that didn't make sense). I get most of the things I set out to do done. Not all, of course. Life happens sometimes, but most.

Ronda’s Weekly Intention: What Do I Want to Experience? Jan 1-7, 2017

I'm starting off the year with a paper planner for the first time in decades. One thing I decided to do was to hold an intention for the week. This word, question, or idea will be front and center every time I go into my planner to play. I will hold and contemplate this intention throughout each day.

Right now, I'm putting the weekly focus intention in my the far left column of my weekly planner spread, just below the monthly calendar.

focus on: What do I want to experienceThis week's intention

What do I want to experience?

Each day, I will focus on the kinds of experiences I desire, whether in food, time with friends, people, vacations, things, or health.

I don't love exercise, but I love having vibrant health, so after each workout, that is my focus. I want to experience strength.

I am saving pictures of experiences I want to have, such as trips to Hawaii, Ireland and Scotland.

While looking at the photo of me kissing a dolphin, I relive one of the best moment of my life and know I want to have a similar experience again, in the wild this time.

So that's how I'm working with my intention.
