How Do You Create a Great Google+ Post Worth Sharing?

My Recipe for the Perfect Google+ Post

I love taking time to create a really good Google+ post and in a hangout today people asked for my recipe. Google+ gives us extra tools to customize and add visual appeal to our content, use what's available and bake a better post. I'm happy to share the steps and I hope they help you too!

1. Start with a bold, relevant title (think blog post title).

2. Write a brief summary for your post. Entice people to read your blog article.

3. Add some interesting bullet points that highlight your topic.

4. Use a full size image with proper credit for the source.

5. Use formatting in your post to make it visually appealing and to break up the text.

6. Tag people that might be interested.

7. Add two or three relevant hashtags. Find what's trending on G+ on What's Hot and join the party.

8. Engage with people who comment on or share your post. Use ripples to find who has shared it.

I use this recipe each time I post on Google+, this post uses all these examples.  How to you post to Google+?

Cool Tool of the Week

This week's cool tool is another great freebie from Google. Google Hangouts on Air lets you make a video recording of your screen, a webinar, a class, an interview or whatever into a permanent video on YouTube.

You can make the videos public or private, and think of all the uses for this ability:

  • Classes
  • Free or paid webinar trainings
  • Interviews
  • Masterminds
  • Tutorials showing your screen
  • and so many more.

These videos are higher ranked than a regular YouTube upload. Think about it…YouTube is a Google property! That brings more searchers to your door, and because of the hangout, they can hear and see you. This also works for screen capture!

Does Using Social Media Really Help Sell More Books?

People tend to either hate social media or love it. One big complaint many authors have is they want to sell more books with the help of social media sites, but they end up spending hours liking cat pictures, playing games, and otherwise wasting time.

Honestly any tool can help or hurt, depending on whether you use it well. But you may wonder if authors REALLY sell more books thanks to social media.

Book Marketing Coach providing writing advice, book marketing tips

Here's a great article that will help you. Stick around after, because I'll share a few tips to help you streamline your efforts.

Five Reasons Social Media Will Always Sell More Books…by

Recently there has been a spate of research and opinion on social media and its effect – or lack thereof – on commerce. Attribution studies abound; critics of such “last-click conversion” studies point to “dark social” and the nuances of driving sales. I’ve been watching all of this with as open a mind as I’ve been able to muster and have come to the following conclusions:

Nearly everything I’ve seen is incomplete, misinformed, or reflects an inability on the part of people and organizations to actually use social as opposed to just doing social; and that social media will always work for marketing and selling books (and ebooks).

Here are the top five reasons why:

  1. The Core Book-Buying Audience Uses Social Media (and so do all those other folks who will buy books if they hear about them…)
This is true unless your audience falls outside of the 85% of the U.S. population that uses social media or isn’t between the ages of 18 and 65+. Check the most recent Pew stats. Perhaps even bump them against some book industry studies. The audience is there. Fish where the fish are.
  2. Real Consumer Data
The audience data that marketers, publicists, and salespeople can gather about social media followers, fans, and general users should be invaluable to anyone marketing or selling books. Acting on an understanding of the demographics, psychographics, and behavior of an audience with regard to an author, a title, or a site will grow sales and marketing efficiency. If it doesn’t, then something else is very wrong. Gathering and acting on data certainly helped Obama whip Romney. And it can even be predictive (Holy Grail!); in 2010 a couple smart HP researchers predicted opening box office using Twitter volume and sentiment along with number of screens. They did so with 97% accuracy.
  3. Identifying Adjacent Audiences
Once you’ve analyzed your core audience, it quite straightforward to identify key attributes of that audience and find “look-alikes.” In other words, folks with similar key attributes (hobbies, beliefs, activities, likes, dislikes, locales, marital status, education level, etc.) and place your book in front of those folks who, it happens, will behave much like your core. This is the social graph and it is major.
  4. SEO
This could be an essay. Short, over-simplified version focusing on two key points: 1) Both the “general” engines such as Google and the more-specific engines (eg. Amazon) use social “signals” to assist them in determining the authority of everything – including authors and books. Authority=rank. So, positioning. If the title holds up (eg. garners clicks and/or more links over time), it will retain that rank or rise… and 2) As a corollary; an author or title’s presence on the major networks will nearly always enter the first page of a Google search for the author, title, and even some of the longer tail terms. Ranking higher in search sells books; ask Google or Amazon.
  5. Making the Next Campaign Easier
We hear a lot of talk about scaling marketing efforts. Social is often seen as a hurdle to scale. Social is actually scalable using technology. But it doesn’t really matter if the “IT” hurdle is too great; scale is inherent in using social to market. A marketer’s ability to look at the performance indicators and underlying consumer data of past social campaigns will increase her understanding of what works, for what, and how well. Also, what doesn’t work. This will speed and hone her next efforts. Every time. Knowledge, process, and a better “feel for the game” is scale. Lather, rinse, learn, repeat. Scaled marketing sells more books.

Bottom line: As publishers realize – or perhaps more accurately stated – embrace the fact that they must demonstrate to authors and retail partners that they are the best at connecting books with readers and driving demand, the question becomes how to do so. It is difficult for me to think of any other efforts publishers can employ that will yield the insights and long-lasting audience development of social media. Very difficult.

What does all this mean for you as an author?

It means

  1. You truly can't do without having a strong social media presence.
  2. You need to be “everywhere” without losing your day to social media sites.
  3. Your author success depends upon you being visible, and that requires social media.

How can you use social media the right way?

Here's what you crave:

  • Connection but not losing your day.
  • Being everywhere but not losing your day.
  • Sell more books with the help of social media.
  • KNOW you got a good return on your time investment.

Effortless Social Media for Authors shows you a simple formula for getting in and out of the networks quickly so that you can put your SM time where you can reach more of the influencers in your audience.

You can get in and out of any network in under 2 minutes!

That means you can put a little more time into the places that really matter most.

For example, I know it's important to be on Twitter, but it's mostly useless for my audience, so all I need is some presence and interaction. Using the Smart Effortless Social Media formula, I can go in real quick a time or 2 each day, still be perceived as interactive because I am interacting, then go on to where my audience REALLY hangs.

You can get started right away at WriteOnPurpose.com/social. The time you save in 1 week will be more than worth the small investment!

How Can Authors Use Google+ Hangouts for Book marketing?

How Can Authors Use Google+ Hangouts for Book Marketing?

I'm just beginning to use Google+ Hangouts to promote my own books and to work with authors.

Cover of the #1 Best Seller The Peace Seed

maybe you're like me, and you're a little shaky on the whole hangouts thing. For me, part of the issue is that I'm mostly blind, and while Google does some great things for accessibility, Hangouts and HangoutsOnAir could use some work.

(BTW If you know anyone inside Google, have them reach out to me and I will GLADLY help make it more accessible for the blind!)

Well, I've never met a technology I couldn't manage eventually, with a little persistence, patience and poise; it's just a matter of “making friends with G+ Hangouts.”

Along those lines, I decided to host my first live HangoutOnAir Saturday, September 21st  for #PeaceDay The International Day of Peace. Click to join the live reading from The Peace Seed.

Here are some more examples to spark your imagination:

Toni Morrison Does First-Ever Google Plus Hangout Book Signing

Feb. 25, 2013

Nobel Prize-winning novelist Toni Morrison will participate in a first-of-its-kind digital book signing and a Google+ Hangout on Air at the Google New York offices.

Using a Wacom tablet, Morrison will sign digital versions of her newest national bestseller, Home, published by the Knopf Doubleday Group, and will be signing the Vintage Books paperback edition of Home for Google employees.

The live Hangout celebrates the paperback release of Home, as well as the culmination of Black History Month events sponsored by the Black Googler Network. The event starts at 3 p.m. EST on February 27, 2013.

During the Hangout Morrison will chat with book clubs around the country. This is the first nation-wide event that Morrison has done with book clubs. The Hangout will be livestreamed on Google+ and YouTube and promoted on Google Play. Fans can watch the Hangout in real time and submit questions electronically.

Here's another example of Google+ Hangouts for building relationships with readers:

Kevin Kelly used Google Hangouts to promote his book:

Samantha Shannon's new dystopian book The Bone Season has taken the world by storm, and her book is a Today Show book of the month. Notice how they get people to post questions on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, with which more people are familiar:

Join author +Samantha Shannon and +TODAY's +Natalie Morales on Monday, September 16 for a Google+ Hangout to discuss Shannon’s debut novel “The Bone Season” -- the first TODAY Book Club pick. Shannon who, at only 21 years of age, is already taking the literature world by storm with “The Bone Season,” will be chatting with viewers about her gripping dystopian novel.

Got a question about “The Bone Season” for Samantha Shannon? Send your questions to Facebook, Twitter and Google+ using the hashtag #TODAYBookClub .

How might YOU as an author incorporate Google Hangouts into your author platform? Here are a few ideas:

  • Reading a chapter from your book.
  • Updating fans throughout the writing process and asking questions.
  • Conducting a virtual book tour like Kevin did.
  • Hosting book clubs (a twist on what both Samantha and Kevin did).
  • Having people act out a scene from your book as a hangout.

Full truth here…I could use some help using Google+ Hangouts to their fullest potential. And just as I was thinking about this a few days ago, I got a call from Mark HarrisHe and Alex Mandossian.asked me to be 1 of 10 leaders on a mega hangout!

This is exciting, because they will help me make better use of Hangouts, and of course you're part of my TRIBE, so you'll find out as well!

The possibilities are endless – and you can find out more Thursday night on a Mega Hangout.

Join the Mega Hangout WriteOnPurpose.com/mega. –  and watch for a very special offer at the end. I already jumped in, and I highly recommend YOU do the same! We'll take the journey together!

The Book Launch is DEAD! Invitation to Be an Instant Best Selling Author

Do you DREAM of being a best-selling author?

ME - a best selling author!

Holding the book YOU WROTE in your hands! -

Seeing your name on the cover of your book! -
Enjoying AMAZING experiences that excite you!-
Touching lives - maybe even changing the world!

One author I know did her book launch the old fashioned way. I'll call her Sarah.

Sarah decided to get a whole bunch of partners to provide a bonus and send out emails to their customers and subscribers on launch day.

"I spent 20-40 hours a week for almost 8 months," she said.

Sarah had small children. I cannot help but think of all the playtime and special moments she missed because of spending so much time on her launch.

And what were her results?

She did make bestseller on Amazon - HOWEVER...

Most of her bonuses had absolutely nothing to do with her book, so they did not get many optins.

Only about 25% of her partners actually mailed, and most of those only one time.

And while yes she leveraged her bestselling author status in other great ways, the amount of time and energy the launch took left her feeling drained.

"I can't help but wonder if I could have gotten the same result with less work."

Now, you can get to bestseller status and leverage it much faster!

What you'll discover doesn't take any special mojo, training or celebrity status! I discovered a secret formula that made me a best selling author almost by accident

The Peace Seed, #1 Bestselling Book

You could be like 1 of these "ordinary" people

The Peace Seed, #1 Bestselling Book

Cynthia - no book to #1 bestselling author in 10 days - strong sales for 2 years

Imagine You Thin by Cynthia Fertal #1 in 2 Categories

#1 bestseller 18 hours after published - then industry leader in prestigious publication .

Another Awakened Author Success Story: Chris Downs, bestselling author & contributor to Grit Magazine - wanna be next?

#017 Help! When Do I Start Book Marketing? Awakened Author Adventure Episode 17

Welcome to Episode 17 of the Awakened Author adventure –  where visionaries like you come for resources, tools and direction to write, publish and share your life-changing book!

Book marketing help about when to start marketing is today's teaching from the first S of BLISS!

Being a successful visionary author is about more than just writing a book. Today’s episode features the first S for SHARING your message in the BLISS Butterfly Author Success System.

BLISS Butterfly - Follow your bliss - Follow Your B.L.I.S.S. - Celebrity Author Mentor - Book Marketing Coach - Ronda Del BoccioSHARE your message - B.L.I.S.S. Butterfly Author Success System

The question that inspired this episode is one that came to me twice yesterday alone.

There's a lot of confusion about when to start with book marketing.  Do you wait til the book is out?

  • “I'm almost done with my book. When do I start marketing?”
  • One way this comes up is, “My book is out, now what?”
  • “Do I have to start marketing now?”

If you're already well underway with your book, or if it's already out, then you're already tardy to the party!

This episode will show you that book marketing does not have to:

  • Be a drudge
  • Be hard
  • Overwhelm you
  • Make you break out into a cold sweat
  • Make you whine
  • Make you complain
  • Be a “HAVE to”

…or any other thing you don't want!

Book marketing should be a fun, free extension of who you are!

Building Your Author Platform: How Can I Build Relationships with Journalists? 1. Google Alerts

When it comes to building your author platform – your presence both offline and online –  being a recognized expert on a topic is a good thing. Whether you write fiction or nonfiction, you can still be a media resource.

Here's an example:

Multi New York Times Bestselling author Dan Brown is a symbology expert who has been interviewed on all major networks and even National Public Radio. Here is part of the NPR interview.

He says he is fascinated by Freemasonry because of its message through the ages.

"We live in a world where people kill each other every day over whose definition of God is correct," Brown says. "And here is a worldwide organization that, at its core, will bring people together from many, many different religions, and ask only that you believe in a god, and they'll all stand in the same room and proclaim their reverence for a god. ... And it seems like a perfect blueprint for universal spirituality."

See original article source)..

As you can see, one important aspect of a strong author platform is  being a media resource.

That means building relationships with journalists. Google Alerts is a great tool for doing this.

Google Alerts –  a Powerful Tool for Authors

Use Google Alerts image

First, you may not be familiar with Google Alerts. All you do is enter a search string and your alerts will arrive in your inbox on the schedule you choose.

Here's what Google says about Google Alerts on its homepage:

Monitor the Web for interesting new content

Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your queries.

Enter a search query you wish to monitor. You will see a preview of the type of results you'll receive. Some handy uses of Google Alerts include:

  • monitoring a developing news story
  • keeping current on a competitor or industry
  • getting the latest on a celebrity or event
  • keeping tabs on your favorite sports teams

Google Alerts Tips.:

  1. Put your phrase in quotes “Awakened Author Adventure” not Awakened Author Adventure
  2. Be sure to get an alert for your name (in quotes of course) to monitor what is being said about you.
  3. Monitor your “competitors'.
  4. Monitor the keyword phrases you are using.

Now, here is some great information about building relationships with journalists using Google Alerts.

Use Google Alerts to form relationships with journalists and get valuable free publicity

by

You probably already know how to use Google Alerts to discover stories that have been written about you or your topic.

But do you know how to take the next important step that will practically force journalists to pay attention to you?

It’s fairly easy. And Mark Amtower does it regularly.

Let Google Do the Heavy Lifting

He has created Google Alerts for his area of expertise, which is how small business owners can sell more to the government.

Google Alerts sends related articles into his Inbox almost daily. When Mark reads a story he likes, he sends the reporter who wrote it a short email saying he enjoyed the article.

Trust me. When journalists see emails like that, they pay attention! I sure did when I worked as a reporter because most of the people who contacted wanted me wanted something.

Within the email, Mark mentions his website, GovernmentMarketingBestPractices.com, to reinforce his expertise and credibility.

If the journalist replies and thanks him for his comments, Mark offers to send a free copy of his book and….here’s the important part…offers to be a resource for other stories on the same topic.

Book Marketing Coach: Can I Build Buzz for My Book While Still Writing?

Book Marketing coach Shares How to Buzz Your Work in Progress!

Far too many authors think that the time to build anticipation and buzz for your book is AFTER it's published.

NO –  the time to start building anticipation and buzz is while you're still writing it! The following article makes an excellent point, and I hope you will take heed AND take action!

Book Marketing Coach providing writing advice, book marketing tips

Building Buzz Before You Publish

Posted by CreateSpaceBlogger on Mar 11, 2013 5:09:04 AM

Do you have an idea for your next book? If not an idea, maybe you just have that itch to start writing another book. Either way, idea or itch, now is the time to start talking about it online. This is your opportunity to build buzz and anticipation.

Writing a book is a gut-wrenching, life-affirming, tear-producing, spine-tingling, smile-launching struggle. It's a process that can leave you feeling elated on Tuesday and bring you crashing back to reality on Thursday. That it will have its ups and downs is as sure as the sunrise.

But that process gives authors an opportunity to breathe life into a book before it's published. It makes the book more than a book; it makes it a journey. You can take that journey with your readers by talking about the ups and downs on your website, blog, or social media.

Those who follow your path likely will be anxious to reach the destination and read the published product. Plus, the journey might be something they share with their friends and family, which can lead to even more readers awaiting your book.

I'm not talking about revealing plot points and twists or any other essential story elements. Talk about the story in broad strokes. This is more about the creative process as a whole.

I've even seen authors put out technical questions about science and history that are crucial to their stories. They involved the readers in the actual creation process.

Keep in mind, however, that there is a danger of saturating your readers with too much inside information, so you want to be careful and not bury them with details. Give them just enough to keep them interested.

For the most part, you want to give them a peek inside without giving them a full-fledged tour.

Don't miss this opportunity to build pre-publication buzz. Take your readers with you on your writing journey!

-Richard

Richard Ridley is an award-winning author and paid CreateSpace contributor. See original article source

The best point in the article

They involved the readers in the actual creation process.

The more a reader is involved, the more she is engaged and invested in the journey, and the more likely she is to buy the book.

Expand Your Reach

One of my favorite tools helps an author expand your reach. When you write an article on your blog, you want people to read it. And not just the people who already know and love you, but people who are your ideal reader but don't know you yet!

Social Buzz Club has a free level that empowers you to share good stuff with your network from other people and also to have them share yours.

How Can Publishing a Book, Top Authors, and Goodreads Bring More Readers?

How Can Publishing a Book, Top Authors, and Goodreads Bring More Readers?

Publishing a book – whether self publishing, going through a small press or having a big house publisher –  means a lot of “leg work” for any author.

Part of publishing is developing relationships with your audience and with big players in your niche. It's hard to separate the key aspects of writing, publishing, and promoting your book.

consider the power of connecting with the top name authors serving your same audience.

Here's an interesting top authors list from a bestselling business author, Dave Kerpen  As you see these authors, consider who you feel are the top authors in your niche.

11 Must-Read Authors For Every Professional

Dave Kerpenby Dave Kerpen:

Dave Kerpen is CEO, Likeable Local, NY Times Best-Selling Author & Keynote Speaker

Great authors teach us, motivate us, inspire us, and make us think. For professionals, great authors can change the way we work, help us realize new opportunities, build a business, and lead others.

My recent post, 9 Business Books That Will Change Your Life, led to over 1,200 comments from readers agreeing or disagreeing with the list, and adding their own favorites. So I've followed up that post with this list of prolific, impactful authors, each of which has written at least three business books. Below are my 11 must-read authors, along with six more up-and-coming authors worth reading:

1. Seth Godin

Godin is my favorite author and has been an inspiration to me as a writer, marketer, entrepreneur and thinker. Permission Marketing is my favorite Godin book, but I've enjoyed so many of them, as Godin always challenges readers to think about things in a new way. Other must-read books of his include Purple Cow, Tribes, Linchpin, and Poke The Box. His latest and boldest, The Icarus Deception, calls on people to look at their work as an artist does.

2. Patrick Lencioni

Lencioni is the owner of a management consulting firm and a prolific author and speaker, having written ten books to date. He writes simple, well-told fables, all with leadership and management lessons to take away. His most famous book is The Five Dysfunctions of a Team - and that is a great one, as are The Advantage, Death by Meeting, and Getting Naked. But my favorite is The Three Big Questions for a Frantic Family, because it addresses not only business, but leading a family, something most important to me.

3. Malcolm Gladwell

Gladwell is a longtime writer for The New Yorker magazine and the author of four uber-successful, thoughtful books which stimulate not only business professionals, but all of his readers, to think about things in a new way. Named by Time Magazine in 2005 as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, Gladwell's works include The Tipping Point, Outliers, Blink and What the Dog Saw.

4. Jim Collins

Collins is both a teacher and a student of great companies - having devoted the better part of his life to studying, analyzing and writing about the differences between good companies and great ones - companies that perish and those that endure. His books are all thoroughly researched and his theses are data-driven. Collins' works include Good to Great, Built to Last, How the Mighty Fall and Great by Choice.

5. Daniel Pink

Pink is truly one of the great business minds of our time. Having now authored four provocative books, Pink was named one of the Top 50 business thinkers of the world by Harvard Business Review in 2011. His most recent book, To Sell is Human, is particularly appropriate for salespeople. But Pink's previous Drive and A Whole New Mind are classics as well.

6. Tim Ferriss

Ferriss is an incredibly successful author and speaker, despite apparently not working on any one thing more than four hours a week. The ultimate "work smart over work hard" guy, Ferriss's first book, The Four Hour Workweek, has sold many millions of copies and been translated to 35 languages. The concept for professionals has proved so popular that Ferriss followed up Workweek with The Four Hour Body and The Four Hour Chef.

7. Ken Blanchard

Blanchard is a long-time writer, speaker and consultant and one of the top leadership experts in the world. Like Lencioni, he writes using stories and simple, easy-to-understand language. Three of his many books, the One Minute Manager, Raving Fans, and The One Minute Entrepreneur all deeply influenced the way I've run our businesses and helped clients grow their businesses.

8. Stephen Covey

Covey wrote a plethora of excellent leadership and inspirational books, but the one you've likely heard of is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. This book single-handedly changed the way millions of people live their lives, at work and beyond. The SPEED of Trust and The Leader in Me are two more good ones. Covey's books are excellent reads if you're looking for inspiration beyond your job. Sadly, Covey passed away last year.

9. Peter Drucker

Drucker, the 2nd posthumous member of this list, passed away in 2005, but he was considered the management expert of the 20th century, authoring over 25 books. The teacher, reporter, philosopher and consultant was perhaps best known for mentoring longtime General Electric CEO Jack Welch. His books included The Effective Executive, Managing the Nonprofit Organization, and The Five Most Important Questions You Will Ever Ask About Your Organization.

10. Jeffrey Gitomer

Gitomer may have been a college dropout, but his books have helped many a salesperson make an incredible living. His books are small, easy to read, and packed full of both inspiration and practical advice. My favorite is the Little Red Book Of Selling, but others include Customer Satisfactions Is Worthless, Customer Loyalty is Priceless, Little Gold Book of YES! Attitude, and The Sales Bible.

11. John Maxwell

Maxwell is a longtime leadership expert, speaker and coach who has sold a remarkable 19 million books. His books inspire better leadership skills and communication skills. My favorite is The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership; other noteworthy books include The 5 Levels of Leadership, Developing the Leader Within You, How Successful People Think, The 360 Degree Leader, and Everyone Communicates, Few Connect.

The above 11 are all must-read authors for professionals.
Their many books have stood the test of time and continue to sell millions of copies. As I looked for great business authors, though, I was devastated by the dearth of women authors - plus I wanted to introduce you to a few great authors you may not have read yet. Here, then, are six more terrific authors worth reading, including three awesome female authors:

1. Sheryl Sandberg

Sandberg, the famous and at times controversial Chief Operating Officer of Facebook just launched her first book: Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead. The guaranteed bestseller has already created a lot of buzz, and is worth a read, whether you're a woman or a man.

2. Guy Kawasaki

I am proud to call Kawasaki a mentor, and he easily could have made the list above. His latest work, APE: Author, Publisher, Entrepreneur is a must-read for all authors and wanna-be authors. Other excellent books include The Art of the Start, Enchantment, Rules for Revolutionaries, and Reality Check.

3. Ekaterina Walter

Walter is a new author and a long time speaker and social strategist for Intel. Her first book, Think Like Zuck, inspired me so much I bought copies for my staff at Likeable. I have a strong feeling there's more to come.

4. Erik Qualman

You may not have heard of Qualman yet, but you may be amongst the 5 million people who have seen his "Socialnomics" videos on YouTube. Qualman's first book of the same name, Socialnomics, is an excellent read, as is his newest, Digital Leader.

5. Meg Cadoux Hirshberg

Hirschberg is the wife of Stonyfield CEO Gary Hirshberg, and writes extensively for INC Magazine on entrepreneurship and family. I whole-heartedly recommend her first book, For Better Or For Work, not only for entrepreneurs but for their spouses and families.

6. Michael Maddock

Maddock is an entrepreneur, inventor and innovation expert. My favorite of his three books is Free The Idea Monkey, which is great for both the idea people and the operators who help make those ideas actually happen.

Those are 17 of my favorite authors- although I've read dozens more I've loved. I'm also an author of course, and I've written a couple of books that I hope have inspired people- Likeable Social Media, about the role of social media in today's society and how organizations can best leverage it, and, recently, Likeable Business, about how to leverage 11 simple principles of customer-centric, staff-centric leadership to succeed in today's social-business world.

Now, I'd love to know YOUR favorite business authors. Which of these authors have you read? What other authors of business books have changed YOUR lives? What authors belong on this list, who have inspired YOU to become a better business person, leader and human being? Let me know in the comments here - and happy reading!
